Bernard van Leer Foundation (BvLF), Department for International Development (DfID), and Irish Aid pledge support to JLICA.
In March 2007, Irish Aid announced a generous contribution of €1,000,000 to JLICA (€500,000 each year for 2007 and 2008). In December 2006, the Bernard van Leer Foundation, a JLICA founding partner, had pledged additional support of €220,000 to the Initiative, beyond the Foundation’s earlier commitments. In November 2006, the UK Department for International Development (DfID) announced a contribution of £300,000 to JLICA’s work. These resources are complemented by substantial in-kind contributions to JLICA from the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights, Harvard School of Public Health, and FXB International, Geneva.
